I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today. ~Martin Luther King Jr.
My family immigrated to the U.S. from Taiwan, and Stephane came from France. When we first started discussing brand pillars and attributes for Pop Karma, “multicultural” came up for us both. We want to create popcorn flavors that span the globe.
Part of the reason we aspire to that is because we live in a country that is multicultural and celebrates diversity. Martin Luther King Jr. and his colleagues in the 1960’s helped create the world we live in today. Their dreams, and their actions, changed our country irreversibly for the better. A place where my parents, along with millions of other immigrants, came for an opportunity where working hard could make a difference. Our country isn’t perfect, but it is a place where dreams and effort can blossom into bettering this world of ours.
Dream and strive for it. We’d love if you shared some of your dreams with us. In the meantime, we’ll be working on some Pop Karma flavors like curry and maple bourbon.
